Chairperson's directions
The Chairperson's directions set out the practice and procedures to be followed by Tribunal Members and parties attending the CTTT for dispute resolution.

| Acceptance of building claims | Sets out the classes of application which will be accepted by the Registrar without investigation by an investigator |
| Adjournments | Procedure which is to apply to requests for adjournment. |
| Conciliation and hearing by the same Member | Procedure which is to apply when the same Tribunal Member assists in conciliation for a dispute at the CTTT and then if the matter fails to resolve, determines the matter at hearing. |
| Expert witness code of conduct | Directions with respect to the conduct of expert witnesses before the CTTT. |
| Home building disputes over $30,000 | Procedures which apply to all applications in the Home Building division where the amount claimed or in dispute is over $30,000. |
| Personal identifiers in written reasons and reserved decisions | Policy and procedures which apply to the removal or anonymisation of personal information contained in published written reasons and reserved decisions. |
| Summons | Sets out the procedures which are to apply to summonses issued by the CTTT. |
