The primary function of the CTTT is to resolve disputes about the supply of goods and services, and issues relating to residential property.  The CTTT aims to provide an efficient, inexpensive, informal and fair dispute resolution service.

The CTTT uses a range of dispute resolution processes such as conciliation, hearings and decisions made on the papers. The type of dispute resolution process used will depend on the application type and the nature of the dispute.

Your Notice of Hearing will indicate the type of dispute resolution process to be used, for example 'Conciliation and Hearing'.
