New residential tenancies legislation passed by NSW Parliament

On 10 June 2010 the NSW Parliament passed the Residential Tenancies Act 2010.
The Act is expected to come into effect in late 2010, after the necessary supporting regulations have been made. Until this happens the existing laws continue to apply.
