Burwood information session for consumers and traders

Consumers and traders are invited to attend our Burwood Information Session on 24 August 2010 to learn how consumer claims and disputes about residential building work are resolved at the CTTT.

The session will focus specifically on consumer and trader disputes such as:

  • Consumer claims about the supply of goods and services
  • Disputes concerning motor vehicle purchases and repairs
  • Residential building work disputes between home owners and tradespeople.

People who are thinking about pursuing a claim at the CTTT, and people or businesses who have had claims made against them, are encouraged to come along and learn how to get the most out of the CTTT's dispute resolution process.

In this tailored session you will get a general overview of the CTTT's processes and procedures, find out how applications are made, and learn how to best prepare for the hearing.

The information session will be presented by a CTTT Deputy Registrar and Senior Tribunal Member.
