Launch of CTTT Aboriginal Communications Strategy
Announcement
22 May 2009
On 22 May 2009, the NSW Fair Trading Minister Virginia Judge launched the CTTT's Communications Strategy for Aboriginal Communities 2009-2011 and presented the latest Aboriginal initiative to be delivered from the strategy – ‘Getting a fair go at the CTTT’ brochure.
The Communications Strategy for Aboriginal Communities was developed in consultation with the CTTT Aboriginal Consultative Forum, and is aimed at achieving effective communication and engagement with Aboriginal communities.
The ‘Getting a fair go at the CTTT’ brochure has been designed to provide tailored information to ensure that the Aboriginal community can better understand the services available to them from the CTTT.
Both the Strategy and brochure feature artwork by Aboriginal artist, Mandy Davis, who was commissioned by the CTTT to provide culturally appropriate illustrations to explain key stages in the CTTT's application process.
