The existing Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal Regulation 2002 is due for automatic repeal under the regulatory sunset provisions of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.  It is proposed that the Regulation be replaced with the proposed draft Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal Regulation 2009, to commence on 1 September 2009.

The proposed draft Regulation remakes the existing Regulation with some minor modifications of an administrative manner.

The Office of Fair Trading is seeking comments on this draft Regulation from interested individuals and organisations.  You are invited to comment on the proposed draft Regulation by Wednesday 5 August 2009.
