CTTT Part-Time Tribunal Member positions available - closing date 2 October 2009

The Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal (CTTT) is seeking applications from persons suitable for appointment as a part-time (sessional) Member of the Tribunal in the following locations: Sydney, Katoomba/Lithgow, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Grafton and Armidale.
Members are statutory office holders and are appointed by the Governor for up to five years. The CTTT is a specialised dispute resolution forum for consumer, trader and residential tenancy disputes in NSW.
To be considered for appointment you will need to have an ability to conduct fair hearings according to law. You will also have recognised ability or experience in alternative dispute resolution. You must be able to quickly deliver lawful decisions and reasons across a wide jurisdiction within a high volume list driven environment. Your communication skills must be superior and you must be able to identify and take into account the needs of people from diverse backgrounds. Ability to use a range of information technology is essential.
Part-time Members receive a daily fee of $675.00
