Launch of the CTTT Communications Strategy, Conciliation 10 Top Tips and Fact Sheet

On 23 January 2008, the NSW Fair Trading Minister, Linda Burney launched the CTTT Communications Strategy 2008-2010 and presented the first of many educational tools to be delivered from the strategy - the ‘10 Top Tips for Conciliation’ and ‘Conciliation Fact Sheet’.
The Communications Strategy was developed in response to market research conducted by Ipsos Australia Pty Ltd, the recommendations of the Operations Review of the CTTT, feedback from stakeholders, the NSW State Plan, and research conducted into comparable jurisdictions across Australia.
The research found that there was the need for more information around each step of the CTTT's processes, in particular the conciliation stage.
The ‘10 Top Tips for Conciliation’ and ‘Conciliation Fact Sheet’ have been designed to help people prepare for the conciliation process and understand the benefits of reaching a conciliated agreement without the need for attending a hearing.
