New hardship variation fact sheet
26 May 2008
Did you know you can apply to the CTTT for a hardship variation if you're having temporary difficulties paying your personal loan or credit contract?
A ‘hardship variation’ means you can ask the CTTT to order your credit provider to vary or change your loan repayments until you're back on your feet. However, to be eligible for a hardship variation you will need to show you meet certain criteria.
The CTTT's new fact sheet can help you understand hardship variation applications and the criteria you must meet, including a step-by-step guide on how to apply.
