Getting to Newcastle Registry

Entry to Newcastle Registry can also be accessed from Thorn Street off Hunter Street Mall. 

Please allow sufficient time to get to the Newcastle Registry as hearings start at the time indicated on the hearing notice.  View the Newcastle hearing list.

Public transport

Newcastle Registry is within easy walking distance from Newcastle Railway Station and there is a bus stop located at the Scott Street entrance.  There is also a ferry service from Stockton with the Ferry Terminal located in Wharf Road opposite the Scott Street entrance to the Registry.

Metered street parking is available in Scott Street and Wharf, and throughout the Newcastle city centre at various times.

The closest taxi ranks are located in Scott Street near the Newcastle Railway Station, and in Perkins street opposite David Jones.

Disabled access and facilities

Disabled access is available from Scott Street and Thorn Street off the Hunter Street Mall.  Disabled toilets are also available at the Newcastle Registry.

Portable audio hearing loop facilities are also available at the Newcastle Registry.  Please notify the Registry prior to the hearing date to ensure this facility is set up for use on the day.
